Despite the fact that the First Division Assembly has not yet taken place, reporters close to Liga MX authorities have already leaked what other punishments the club would face once they are confirmed.

Other punishments that Querétaro will face

According to the Mexican press, the club would play all its home games behind closed doors for one year, which would result in the loss of the income generated by the stadium tickets.

The matches to be played behind closed doors would be played at the Estadio Corregidora, or at another stadium authorized by Liga MX

There was also talk of the Mexican soccer bars and it is contemplated that they will be prevented from entering the stadiums of all Liga MX teams for 3 years for home games

While for matches in which their clubs play as visitors, they would be prohibited from entering the stadiums of their rivals for 1 year

And everything seems to indicate that the strongest punishment will be to remove the current owners of the club so that others will be in charge of the reins of Gallos Blancos.

The separation of Queretaro's owners is imminent

Everything seems to indicate that this would be one of the most probable sanctions since, in the meetings that have been held so far, almost all the presidents of the Liga MX clubs are in favor of this measure

Therefore, Greg Taylor, Gabriel Solares, and Manuel Velarde would be separated from the administration of the team and the only entity that would be against this sanction would be Grupo Pachuca, owners of the Pachuca and Leon teams.

However, the vast majority of the clubs are in favor of removing Taylor, Solares, and Velarde from the club's administration.

And if this sanction were to be enforced, the team would go to Zolas Deportes y Entretenimiento S. de RL. de CV., owned by Jorge Alberto Hank Inzunza.

On the other hand, it is also rumored that the company in charge of leasing the Corregidora Stadium, QUEGAT SA de CV, would cease to do so, but there is still no further information about this sanction.

A press conference is expected to be held at 13:00 ET in which Liga MX will report on the sanctions that the club will receive, but everything seems to indicate that the most likely to occur is the separation of the current Querétaro board of directors from the team.
