Overcame Querétaro vs Atlas, destruction and loss of 127 lives in one stadium at Indonesia
A sad event took place in India, something that did not even happen during the Atlas vs Queretaro match at the Corregidora
Unfortunate news from the Indonesian soccer league. During a pitched battle during the East Java Classic of League 1, after Arema FC's 3-2 defeat against Persebaya, the fans, upset by the result, invaded the pitch and a pitched battle broke out.
This event was similar to what happened months ago at Estadio La Corregidora when Atlas fans clashed with Querétaro fans and left a significant number of people injured and some dead. However, on this occasion, the outcome was much worse.

The security forces tried to contain the disturbance with tear gas, while members of both teams left the pitch to avoid aggression. The incident claimed the lives of 127 people (two policemen), 34 of whom died in the stadium, and 180 people are reported injured at the moment.
What did the teams say after the incident?
After the official reports of the amout of cassualties, "The Persebaya family deeply regrets the loss of lives after the Arema FC vs Persebaya match. No life is worth soccer. We pray for the victims and strength for the families," Persebaya said in a statement.
