Even though Club America won't be at the final in Liga MX, the Coapa club's performance has been remarkable enough that even Gerardo Martino wants several of his players for Qatar. In a really unexpected move, there are two players that Martino is really considering for the tournament.

Club America has been the superior team in Liga MX since the regular phase but they could´nt prove it in semifinals against Toluca. The Coapa team has in its ranks elements that could simply succeed on a large scale in the national team. The reality is that Martino has already asked for them.

Which Club America players would go to Qatar 2022?

For Qatar 2022, it has always been expected that some players will participate with El Tri in the 2022 World Cup. Such is the case of Liga MX top scorer Henry Martin. However, now the other members of the capital team would be Emilio Lara and, surprisingly, Alejandro Zendejas, while waiting for his nationality situation to be resolved.
