After a six-month break, Jaime “Jimmy” Lozano has finally decided to resume his coaching career. After winning the bronze medal with Mexico National Team U-23 in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Lozano resigned to his position and stayed away from the pitches.
He didn’t want any imposed players and that’s why he declined coaching El Tri
But after everything that has been said in recent days, where he was linked to multiple clubs in Liga MX and MLS and even to the senior Mexico National Team squad, Lozano finally decided where he’ll continue his coaching career.
“Jimmy” Lozano has yet to be presented as the new coach of Club Necaxa, club that decided to part ways with their now-former coach Pablo Guede, as the Argentinian couldn’t help the team leave the bottom of Liga MX standings.
It’s yet to be seen if Lozano will take over the club for the upcoming weekend or if he’ll wait until the next round of Clausura 2022, but it’s clear that he has a lot of work to do, as Necaxa currently stand 14 in Liga MX after four rounds, with only three points as a result of one victory and three defeats.
Necaxa didn’t wait more and decided to fire Pablo Guede after just four rounds of Clausura 2022
