Iván Morales' replacement could arrive at Cruz Azul from Italy

Journalist Sebastian Srur reported that River Plate is on the right track for the services of Juan Brunetta, who remained on loan at Parma in Italy, but since negotiations for his purchase have not been successful, the 25-year-old will have to return to Godoy Cruz, the team that owns his contract.

Teams such as River Plate are interested, as Marcelo Gallardo has always liked him and this summer he has his eyes on him again and although some media such as TyC Sports point out that he could arrive at River for 3 million dollars although the journalist Srur assured that with 2 million he could already "leave Godoy Cruz".

Although Brunetta would be closer to Argentina than Mexico, Cruz Azul would also be on the waiting list if something doesn't work out with River Plate. 

Brunetta is an Argentinean player who plays as an attacking midfielder and his last team was Parma Calcio of the Italian Serie B. Although his priority was to stay in Europe, everything indicates that he will have to return to the American Continent.

In his last season with Parma, he played 40 games, scoring six goals and providing eight assists. River's coach, Gallardo, has been following him since 2019, but due to totally economic circumstances, he has not been able to arrive with the Millonarios.
