Real Madrid legend who could be America's top signing for the next tournament

The arrival of Marcelo in Mexican soccer would be one of the biggest additions of all-time additions to the Liga MX because even though he was no longer a starter and a key player in Real Madrid, he would arrive with a huge track record behind him.

Gignac's arrival at the Tigres in 2015 was a signing with great media impact throughout Mexican soccer, as he arrived as a star after playing with Olympique de Marseille. The French striker earned back every dollar invested in his recruitment. In just his first tournament with Tigres, he received close to five million dollars from sales of jerseys with his name on the back.

Now with the imminent departure of Brazilian star Marcelo from Real Madrid, media reports suggest that the América board is interested in bringing in the Merengues' multi-champion fullback to the Azulcrema team and carry out the next Liga MX market bombshell.

Where would Marcelo's earnings come from?

All the income that América could generate from the arrival of Marcelo would mean good earnings for the institution just from all the advertising and jerseys sold is something which would be profitable for the Coapa team.
