Atlas FC can boast an extraordinary soccer moment, which has turned the team into a protagonist in Mexican soccer in recent tournaments. The Rojinegros had not found a lethal striker to keep them in the limelight until the signing of Julián Quiñones.
Quiñones arrived at Atlas from Tigres UANL, a club where he was despised and today is a true reference in recent tournaments, where he has been part of a lethal duo that is complemented by former Santos Laguna player Julio Furch.
In the last soccer year, Julián has formed one of the most lethal pairs on the field along with Furch, and whether with goals or assists, he has improved Atlas' offense, one of the key points that led to the Apertura 2021 title after seventy years without winning the championship, in addition to winning the Bicampeonato in the Clausura 2022.
In reference to his salary, according to Goal, Quiñones would be earning US$3 million per year. His market value is US$5.3 million.
Julián was born in Nariño, Colombia and started his professional career in the maximum circuit in Mexico. Julián played for Venados de Mérida in Liga de Expansión, Tigres, Lobos BUAP and Atlas.
With the Rojinegros he managed to fit in from the start, with whom he has scored fourteen goals and nine assists in 41 games, coming from less to more.
