José Juan Macías demanded to have an opportunity to leave Chivas and Liga MC in order to try his luck in Europe, although he wasn’t on the best moment of his career when he left to join La Liga side Getafe FC, which was proven after six months, when Getafe rescinded his contract.
Chivas won’t play this weekend as their game against Juárez FC was postponed
Now, Macías will have to play again with El Rebaño Sagrado in order to regain his shape and hoping to have a new chance to prove why he was called to be the next Mexico National Team striker. But in the meantime, Macías is closing the door to a prospect that will have to wait to prove himself in Liga MX.
Although Chivas were heavily criticized when they silently registered Paolo Yrízar as their new player, the Mexican forward has proven himself in Tapatío, Chivas academy team that currently plays in Liga de Expansión, Mexico’s second flight.
The 24-year-old forward arrived in Guadalajara for Clausura 2022 out of Dorados de Sinaloa, although it’s yet to be known how much Chivas paid for him. So far, Yrízar has played the 6 matches Tapatío has have, scoring three goals and assisting 3 times, numbers that have caused interest in the senior team given the lack of goals they’ve suffered.
Club Puebla keeps impressing everyone in Liga MX and are leaders of Clausura 2022
