Even after Monterrey managed to beat 3-1 Al-Jazira SC for the fifth place of 2021 FIFA Club World Cup, the performance of Rayados in Abu Dhabi was disappointing, to say the least, as they couldn’t reach the semifinals after losing 1-0 against Egyptian side Al-Ahly.

Adding their failure to the current situation in Liga MX, where Monterrey has won just one of their last 8 games, some players are getting tired of how Javier Aguirre manages the squad, as they don’t play like the highest-value roster of Mexican soccer.
