Although he’s still young, he already is playing for his third Liga MX team after not having the chance to prove himself in the pitch, given that the coaches he’s had had preferred playing other players instead or just are not keen on young talents.

When he debuted in Mexico’s top flight, he was called to be the next Messi, given his skills with the ball and sharpness of mind. As a right-winger, he was usually compared with Diego Lainez, who people thought was a step below him, but given the support Lainez has from Televisa, he was able to make a name in Mexican soccer.

Now, Misael Domínguez currently plays for Tijuana Xolos, although he’s still waiting for a chance to become a regular in Robert Dante Siboldi’s squad. In the meantime, he promotes hair products on his social media, in order to make an income.

The 22-year-old right-winger began his career with Monterrey, where he played for the Academy teams, until 2018, when he joined Cruz Azul and was called to be a great talent, something he couldn’t prove. He was sent on a loan back to Monterrey Academy before joining Tijuana for the current season, although he has yet to play his first game of 2022.
