According to a report by the newspaper El Universal, the Guadalajara team would indeed have a new owner after it was leaked that in a meeting, the board of Omnilife had already asked the owner of Chivas to sell the team because it is not profitable.
El Universal stated that due to the constant failures of Chivas, there is already a decision to sell the most Mexican team. Thus, Amaury Vergara's era is about to come to an end.
