With this result, the Camoteros assured that they will play in the reclassification, but if they continue to play and win as they did today, they will be able to qualify directly for the Liguilla.

On the other hand, León lost 3 valuable points that put them far away from the playoffs, but they can still recover if they win their next 3 matches and wait for the opportunity to qualify for the playoffs.

Fernando Aristeguieta's goal to give Puebla the win over León

It was the 43rd minute of the match when Puebla took a free kick that turned into a cross into the box, where Fernando Aristeguieta was already positioned, and he wasted no time in jumping in to head in.

The Venezuelan striker shot with such power that Rodolfo Cota could do nothing to prevent the goal. And so the match was sealed with a 0-1 score, but this was not the last outstanding action of the match.

These were the 4 players who were sent off in the match

The duel was intense from the start and the best proof was that in the 5th minute, Pedro Hernandez was sent off for a strong tackle against Gustavo Ferrareis, in which he kicked the player in the face.

Initially, the play had only been sanctioned with a yellow card, but the VAR was used and the verdict was changed to a red card, which sent Hernández to the locker room.

The second sending-off was for Omar Fernández, who in the 57th minute had words with the referee and was sent off for insulting the referee. With this, the Panzas Verdes were left with only 9 men on the field, but this would not be the last expulsion of the match.

In the 77th minute, Pablo Parra was also sent off by the referee for a double yellow card, and both were for the same reason: raising his arm and hitting opponents in the face.

And the last sending-off of the match occurred after the 90th minute when Alberto Herrera committed the last foul of the match and was sent off for accumulation of yellow cards.

In total, 10 yellow cards were shown in this match, which shows the intensity with which the ball was disputed on the field.

However, this is bad news for León, who will have to face Club América in their next match, so not having their starters will be a challenge for Ariel Holán
