The player has had a brutal development with Guillermo Almada's team, as he has been a fundamental part of the game plan of the coach of the Hidalgo team.

But that same development he has had has caught the attention of several Liga MX clubs, so it is already beginning to be handled in the Mexican press the fact that Sanchez, win or lose against Atletico San Luis, could leave the club very soon.

Clubs looking for Pachuca's Erick Sánchez

Apparently, the player has been so effective in his play with Guillermo Almada's team, that not one, but two clubs are looking for him and everything seems to indicate that these teams are from the north of the country.

According to information from the Mexican press, Pachuca itself is already very advanced in negotiations with a club from Nuevo Leon, so Erich Sanchez leaves the Tuzos and goes to play for one of the clubs in that state.

Two of the most powerful clubs in Mexico are located in Nuevo León: Rayados de Monterrey on the one hand, and Tigres on the other, who could easily pay Pachuca what they are asking for the player.

So, win or lose against Atlético San Luis, Pachuca could be close to being without Erick Sánchez.

Erick Sánchez's numbers

The player has become an essential part of Guillermo Almada's game plan and has long provided the Hidalgo club with a lot of ball fluidity in midfield.

With 100 games played with the Tuzos, 7 goals, and 12 assists, the player has attracted the attention of two of the most powerful clubs in Mexico. But he also caught the attention of the Mexican national team.

The player has already been capped for El Tri, and his first game was on July 15, 2021, the date on which Sanchez achieved the dream of any footballer by making his debut in the Mexican national team uniform.

That debut was in the Gold Cup against Guatemala, a match that El Tri won with authority and with a score of 0-3. Therefore, the player already has the experience and skills to join either Rayados de Monterrey or Tigres.

Is Erick Sanchez's departure from Pachuca closer than expected?
