Tigres suffered, but managed to win 2-1 against the Querétaro Gallos Blancos, in the match corresponding to the sixth match day of the Liga MX Apertura 2022 tournament, played at the Universitario Stadium in Monterrey.

The team from Monterrey opened the scoring at minute 19, thanks to a goal by Nicolás Diente López, a goal that boosted the team's confidence, who apparently had an easy outlook to achieve a resounding victory against a rival who are not at their best at the moment.

In the second half, Tigres regained the lead after Jordy Caicedo's goal, who was sent off moments later, leaving his team a man down and complicating the result in their favor.

But it didn't end there, as Juan Pablo Vigón was also shown the red card, leaving Tigres with nine men and suffering more than they should have in the final part of the match, but they finally won the three points. Querétaro ended the match with 10 men, after David Cabrera was controversially sent off.
