That’s why people have started to question Santiago Solari’s continuity as Club América’s coach, given that he hasn’t help the team to repeat their performances from last season, where they were Liga MX leaders, and even worst, they’re now losing against small teams like Mazatlán FC.

According to reports, Santiago Solari already presented his resignation letter to Emilio Azcárraga and Santiago Baños, who don’t have plan B to replace Solari, which is why they’ll back up the Argentinean coach for now, as they hope he can turn things around for Las Águilas.

Will Solari end Clausura 2022 in Las Águilas dugout?

Baños and Azcárraga know that Liga MX is a friendly tournament that gives the chance to 12 teams to reach the playoffs, which is why they’re not too worried about the current results. But if América doesn’t improve in the span of two weeks, when they’ll face Pumas, Las Águilas will find a new coach to replace Santiago Solari.
