Seattle Sounders vs Pumas UNAM: which is the more expensive squad?

The Peruvian striker's goal was the one that opened the scoring in the final of the Concacaf Champions League, although the goal fell fortuitously.

What happened was that when Raúl Ruidíaz shot, the ball bounced off the back of Diogo de Oliveira, which caused the ball to deflect to the left, when Alfredo Talavera had come out to cut out space on the right.

As a result, the ball bounced the other way and into the goal, which was followed by Ruidíaz's effusive celebration, which also generated controversy as the player mocked goalkeeper Talavera and Pumas.

Did Raúl Ruidíaz really make fun of Alfredo Talavera and Pumas UNAM?

According to the images that have been revealed by the press at the moment of Ruidíaz's celebration, the Peruvian striker rubs his eyes with his hands, as if he were crying, but looks at Talavera and Pumas

Therefore, his gesture does look like a mockery of the goalkeeper of the Auriazul squad, but it also seems that he is also mocking the rest of the team, so the player would seem to be settling a score he has with the goalkeeper and with the Liga MX club.

Why did Raúl Ruidíaz make fun of Talavera and Pumas?

It seems that there is already a rivalry between the Seattle Sounders striker and the Pumas goalkeeper because, in the first leg match that was held at the Olímpico Universitario Stadium, a conflict broke out between Talavera and the Sounders player.

This player was Nicolás Lodeiro, who in the first leg of the match after scoring against Alfredo Talavera, celebrated his goals with a gesture towards the Universitarios fans and the Mexican goalkeeper so that at the end of the match the latter faced him and they argued and even pushed each other.

Ruidíaz's controversial gesture could be a mockery of the goalkeeper and his team, which tonight lost to the Sounders in the CONCACAF Champions League with a score of 3-0.

And of those three goals, two were scored by Raúl Ruidíaz and one by Nicolás Lodeiro, proving that this club has shown that Major League Soccer can look up to Liga MX.

And it will be interesting to see this MLS club at the FIFA Club World Cup, demonstrating the progress that soccer in the United States has made in recent years.
