The Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League 2022 official draw was held in Miami. América former goalkeeper Moisés Muñoz and the American forward Chris Wondolowski were the special guests to be in charge of the raffle drawing.
Before the draw began, there was an emotional video of Monterrey's road to last year's title. Monterrey president, Duilio Davino, said: "It has been a source of pride since the tournament began we have been looking forward to it and we are very excited about going to the Club World Cup. We should be very happy to be able to represent Monterrey, Mexico, and Concacaf".
After Moisés Muñoz and Chris Wondolowski took the teams out of their respective pots, this is how the matchups ended up.
