Chivas vs LA Galaxy and LAFC vs Club America: who has won in the past?

Both duels have been played in the past, with the oldest being Chivas vs LA Galaxy, who will meet for the first time in 15 years.

It is worth remembering that in the last three previous meetings, the club where Javier Hernandez now plays won in a friendly match in 1999 at the Rose Bowl and on penalties in the CONCACAF Champions Cup in 1997 in Chicago

And in their last meeting 15 years ago, El Rebaño Sagrado defeated the Galaxy 2-1 at the LA Memorial Coliseum during the 2007 SuperLiga.

This will be the first time Chicharito will face the club where he was born as a professional.

On the other hand, the LAFC vs Club America match is not as old, although it will be interesting to see how the Aguilas will play now that they are facing their current commitments with an interim coach like Fernando Ortiz

The meeting between LAFC and Club America will be the second time they have met, the first time since LAFC eliminated the LIGA MX club in the semifinals of the 2020 CONCACAF Champions League. And now the Aguilas will face the club where Carlos Vela, one of the scorers of the current tournament, plays.
