Club América barely managed to rescue a point from Estadio Cuauhtémoc after yesterday’s debacle, when lost their coach, Santiago Solari, Roger Martínez and received a goal, everything in an 8-minute span. Luckily for them Club Puebla wasn’t at his best and the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
But it became obvious that Las Águilas are still in need of talented players that could help the team coma back to games after things aren’t going their way, that’s why they are set to add at least one more player and they have set their eyes outside Liga MX.
Club América is now after 19-year-old Argentinean striker Pablo Solari, who was acquired by Chilean Colo-Colo in 2021 after an 18-month loan from Argentinean Club Atlético Talleres on a 4-year deal for $1.3 million, a figure the Mexican team will have to surpass if they want to acquire the young promise.
América has been unlucky with their signings this transfer window
Las Águilas have tried signing a couple of players to fill their needs at right-winger, as Santiago Solari didn’t like Leo Suárez and already loaned him to Santos. So far, they’ve tried to acquire Agustín Canobbio from Peñarol and Brian Ocampo from Nacional, but both negotiations were unsuccessful.
