The 40-year-old makes it clear he's not yet done with playing, he confirms that AC Milan will not be his last destination. He spoke to Telefoot in France about his lengthy career.

“The secret to my longevity is in the mind, as I am trying to prove that 40 is just a number and I can continue to do what I love,” said Ibra.

“I want to keep improving every day. Obviously, I can’t play the way I did before, but I am more intelligent now and have more experience.”

Zlatan has always claimed to be the best, his charisma and performance didn't suggest otherwise. “I am not surprised by my performances, I am the best. I can’t be surprised if I’m the best. I try to help my teammates to get better.

“I have nothing more to prove, but I don’t want to retire and then regret it, thinking I could’ve continued. I don’t want to stop until I am kicked out, well and truly finished.”

He's proud of his achievements and the impact he has made in all the clubs he has played for. He talked about Putting PSG And Major League Soccer on the map.

“I was one of the first to arrive when PSG was taken over and I saw changes in just 48 hours. I am very proud to have been there from the start, because without me, PSG would not have become what it is now.

“I didn’t come to Paris for money or the city, but to change everything.”

Even though he claimed not to have played for money, he has made fortune in his playing career. When he played for Manchester United, his peak annual salary was $35 million. In his last year at Manchester United, he was earning $27 million. When he joined the LA Galaxy in 2018, he accepted a $1.4 million salary. He's worth over $190m.
