Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 39 years old and will be turning 40 in October 2021. But that is not a problem or a reason why he is thinking on his retirement from professional soccer, as he is going through an impressive moment. So far this season, he has scored 16 goals after 17 matches played and been one of the best players of AC Milan.

According to what La Repubblica Italian side published, Ibra will stay at Milan. The club is set to make a new offer to renew his contract, that expires on June 2021, and he will play another season with the team he joined on January 2020 for the third period in his career.

The striker is the second top-scorer of the Serie A this season, after netting 14 goals, just one less than Cristiano Ronaldo. Milan stands in the first position in the local league, as they earned 49 points, two more than Inter and seven more than Juventus so far.

Ibrahimovic has arrived to the 500 goals scored in his career, after just a couple more than 800 games played. For Milan, he scored 83 in 122 games, and he still has more to give. It is strange to see an attacker playing at his 40 years old in the top international level, but Zlatan wants to show the world that he is capable of doing so.
