Zlatan Ibrahimovic has a very particular personality. He does it on purpose though, se he puts pressure on himself saying he is the best so he works hard to live up to those expectations. But this time, he was heard by a legend of mixed martial arts. This top striker talked about him and Conor McGregor, who reacted to it.

Ibrahimovic said, before the historic fight between the Irish and Floyd Mayweather Jr. some years ago, that he is the McGregor of soccer, because he can knock out anybody from any angle. At the same time, Zlatan said that McGregor is the Ibrahimovic of martial arts.

The UFC legend heard these comments, and replied that there is only one Conor McGregor. Zlatan is just trying to be his soccer version. And invited him and Paul Pogba to train with him whenever they want. They were Manchester United players at the time, the club McGregor is a fan.

Still, both sportsmen have a great relationship and wished each other success, and admired each other by their big winning mentalities. The other encounter between a soccer star and someone from fighting was the time Cristiano Ronaldo featured in a TV show with the star of boxing Gennady Golovkin.
