Raúl Jiménez has been one of the best Mexican players in the world since the start of this season. The attacker has scored four goals after six Premier League games for Wolverhampton and proof his top level. There are just a bunch of Mexicans in the world to whom he may be compared, such as Hirving Lozano or Carlos Vela.

Head coach Nuno Espírito Santo revealed one of the reasons of Jiménez performances and said that the physical form of the forward is impressive, as he has played every single match since he went with Mexico national team to play the Gold Cup. The coach assured that Jiménez is very professional and that respects his break days.


Jiménez played 106 games since he arrived to Wolverhampton, after the club paid $40 million to Benfica for him. He scored 48 goals and gave 18 assists with the Wolves, that now march 9th in the Premier League after 10 points earned in six games played. Previously he also played for America, Atlético de Madrid and Benfica.


Aged 29, Jiménez has a contract remaining with Wolverhampton until June 2024. The English club has enjoined his very good form during this year and the head coach knows how important he is for the whole team.
