Erling Haaland appearance last year was one of the greatest of the world. The Norwegian attacker arrived to Borussia Dortmund for more than $21 million from RB Salzburg and clearly full filed everyone's expectation. Even though he was not thought as a player to start every game, he gained a place in the starting XI of the team.

Haaland scored 21 goals and gave five assists in just 23 games for the German squad. His performance called the attention of many important players of the world, even though Borussia Dortmund won't let him go that easy. Real Madrid is one of the teams that chased him during the last summer.

After a decision from Florentino Pérez of not to spend any money on the transfer market, The Galacticos may go for him next summer. The club incorporated Martin Ödegaard, Takefusa Kubo and Sergio Reguilón, all back from loans, but didn't spend any money.

This is set a strategic to waste millions on the next transfer window and a player to incorporate may be Haaland, even though the first objective is still Kylian Mbappé. Actually, the striker has a release clause of more than $75 million, but Real Madrid thinks that Borussia Dortmund may want to negotiate conditions and let him out for lease money.
