Georginio Wijnaldum has urged deposed French champions, PSG to complete the signing of Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba. The ex-Liverpool utility player, who also arrived at the Parc des Princes this summer, believes that Pogba is amongst the best in the world in his position. He also described him as ‘fabulous, extraordinary and full of qualities.’

When 30-year-old Wijnaldum was asked if he’d love to play alongside the World Cup-winning midfielder, he was effusive in the praise of the former Juventus player.

In his interview with RMC, Wijnaldum said: ‘He is incredible. I have played against him several times and what a fabulous player! Every team would like to have him. If you ask any player from another team whether they would like Paul Pogba to join them, everyone would say “yes” because he is an extraordinary player, full of qualities. He has it all. There are so many games between the league, the cups, Europe, that you not only need a good eleven but also a good rotation. That’s how we form the best possible team. You need all the players for a season.

PSG have so far completed the signings of Gini Wijnaldum, Danilo Pereira, Achraf Hakimi, Sergio Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma during the present transfer window. Pogba is also said to be open to joining the Paris-based club and has rejected the latest contract offer from Manchester United worth up to £50m.
