The Mexican national team ended their sporting tour of Europe where they won the first game against Netherlands and tied the second against Algeria. Rodolfo Pizarro started both games but left a sad image in terms of football rhythm. Many blame him for the forward playing in MLS and not in Europe.

The coach of Mexico gave Pizarro the chance to show that he was still at a football level to represent the Mexican team but Pizarro had two pretty bad performances. Against Netherlands a better match could be seen but against Algeria it was a disaster. At no point in the game could he be in tune with the other forwards.

Gerardo Martino used these two friendlies from the Mexican team to see players who were not used to being called up. One of them was Rodolfo Pizarro but he would have disappointed the coach of the Mexican team. He couldn't score any goals and was very slow compared to the other players.

Most of the players from Mexico play in European soccer so they have a different rhythm of play. Pizarro who plays for Inter Miami, no matter how hard he tried, could not stand the difference in pace. In Mexico they are already saying that Pizarro's call was a disaster and that they hope he will not be called again.
