Paris Saint-Germain star, Kylian Mbappe has reportedly turned down a huge contract offer from the club this week. Mbappe seems to be set to force a move Real Madrid with his repeated refusals to sign a new contract at PSG. His current contract expires on June 30, 2022.

PSG is said to have offered the 21-year-old World Cup winner a massive  €36m-a-year contract to Mbappe. This means the forward will earn almost €700,000 weekly if he stays at the Parc des Princes. This is the same salary that Brazilian star, Neymar earns at the club. Also similar to the €35m-a-year deal that Lionel Messi just signed on joining the Parisian club. The club wants him to sign a 6-year contract extension that will see Mbappe commit his future till 2028.

However, Mbappe is said to have reiterated his stance that he will not commit to new terms with the Parisian clubside. The former Monaco forward is reported to prefer a move to Madrid to be the centrepiece of the latest Galactico project. If he doesn't sign a new contract, Mbappe would be open to start discussing with new clubs as from January 2022.

PSG is said to be ready to lose him for free next summer rather than cash-in on the player they paid over £160m for his transfer from Monaco in 2018. The Parisians have done excellent business this summer with the signings of Achraf Hakimi, Danilo Pereira, Gini Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and Gigi Donnarumma.
