Landon Donovan had an action that many applauded when deciding that the team he owns would not continue to play its game against Phoenix Rising. The player who had been attacked was Collin Martin who initially said he did not want to end the game, but later thanked Donovan for his support.

Collin Martin got angry with Phoenix Rising player Junior Flemming after a foul and the opponent insulted him using extremely aggressive language. At that time he did not realize the dimension of the insult so he decided to continue playing without giving it more importance. His teammates were the ones who could not bear the aggression and decided to end the game.

After it all happened, Collin Martin realized that taking these kinds of decisions is the only way to stop people from making aggressive comments toward the other person. For this reason, he thanks Donovan for taking the team off the soccer field and finishing the match.

Collin hopes that what happened will not happen again on any soccer field or anywhere in society. He is only waiting for Junior Flemming to offer him an apology and stop denying what everyone who was present on the soccer field heard. The only way according to Martin and Donovan to stop with this is by exposing the aggressors.
