Partey finally completed a £45million move from Atletico Madrid and was presented with the team’s jersey a couple of days ago He participated in a few trainings and could make his debut against Manchester City, a really important match for Arteta’s team start winning and continue dreaming with the Premier League title.

The ex-Arsenal defender Armand Traore said that there were definitely some similarities between Partey and Patrick Vieira. He also said that both were players that can happily do the dirty work and that was the main necessity for the Gunners. With all of this being assumed there are real expectations for Partey.

The French midfielder won 10 trophies with Arsenal, the last one in 2005, and is one of the most important players of all time. Was it right to compare a new player with such a legend? Well, now Thomas Partey has a lot of pressure, but he needs to see the pressure as a new challenge.

Arsenal will face Manchester City and some days after will have to play against Rapid Viena for the group stage of the Europa League, which is for sure, the main objective of the team. If Thomas Partey fit and adapt quickly, he will part of at least one of these matches.
