Who is the young star from La Masía compared to Lionel Messi
He is only 16 years old, but he plays for Barcelona B and Patrick Kluivert says that he might be the Messi of the future.
A talented player as Lionel Messi are born once every thousand years. But, after several years working in La Masía, FC Barcelona has the desire of getting another young talent from the club. One of the players in which there is a lot of faith deposited is Ilias Akhomach, the new young star from the club.
Akhomach is a Spanish player from Moroccan family. He is a winger aged 16 and is set to be one of the greatest in the future. Last Saturday he played for Barça B in the team managed by Francisco Javier García Pimienta, even though, for his age, he should have waited some months until playing in the second team of the club.
All the hope that Barcelona have's is accompanied by the declaration of legend Patrick Kluivert, who said that Akhomach is the Messi of the future. For now, it is said that the two players have some things in common: they are both left-footed, that started as wingers and represented by Horacio Gaggioli, the agent who brought Messi to Barcelona.
Even though it is too soon to say that Akhomach will be the Messi of the future, La Masía is working hard finishing the forming process and trying to get him as a top player that can face matches for the first team soon.
