Who is Ferran Torres: the Man City star Xavi wants to make his first signing?

Manchester City star Ferran Torres may be on his way out of Etihad sooner than expected. Xavi Hernandez is looking to strengthen the front role of Barcelona and he has the Spaniard as his top priority. 

It was rumored that his agent was at Barcelona last Tuesday, while Barcelona director of football Mateu Alemany is said to be traveling to Manchester this week. Agreement is said to have been reached between the player and the club but no agreement between the two clubs yet. 

Xavi and Barcelona have promised him playing time, something he feels he doesn't have under Pep Guardiola. He could be in Camp Nou by January should the asking price of Manchester City be in range of the financial status of Barcelona. 

The Spaniard cost €25 million plus bonuses when he moved to Manchester City from Valencia. His future will be determined in the coming days and he could be in Xavi's squad by January.
