While others spend money on parties, check out how Hirving Lozano spent his first salary
According to the newspaper Soy Referee the Napoli winger spent his first salary on two things.
Mentality is a problem for many Mexican footballers and specially complicates their careers when they arrived to Europe, because while they need to stay focused, they had many money to spend. In many cases, indiscipline defines if they will be successful in Europe or not.
The Chivas de Guadalajara players who went out to a party are an example of that. The same happens with Dieter Villalpando's problems with the law. On the other hand, Mexicans who play in Europe are more conscientious and professional. This is demonstrated by their actions and, specially, by how they manage their careers.
While some footballers waste their money at parties and other extra-sporting things, Hirving Lozano demonstrates why he is the most successful Mexican player in Europe. According to the newspaper Soy Referee, the Napoli striker spent his first salary on two things: clothes for his daughter and a house.
In 2019, Hirving Lozano left PSV Eindhoven from the Netherlands' Eredivisie and signed for Napoli for 46.5 million dollars, making him the highest transfer fee ever paid for a Mexican player in history. Since then, he has scored nine goals in 37 games. Currently, the Mexican is a starter at the team Gennaro Gattuso's team.
