Ousmane Dembele could be tempted by sumptuous offers from the Premier League to reject Barcelona's new contract proposal and leave Camp Nou for greener pastures with three Premier League clubs willing to offer him more than what Barcelona are offering.
Barca signed Dembele in 2017 for €105m from Borussia Dortmund after the departure of Neymar Jr to PSG but he has been very underwhelming and spent more time on the sidelines injured than he has spent on the pitch doing the job he was signed for.
The club are willing to offer him a new contract with his current one expiring in the summer and new head coach Xavi Hernandez has made it a priority but the French international has not accepted the offer and will be free to negotiate a pre-contract in January.
Barcelona are offering a base salary of €7.5m but three Premier League clubs; Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United could offer him as much as €12m according to Spanish media El Nacional. It remains to be seen whether he will favour money over loyalty.
