When will Cristiano Ronaldo return after testing positive for COVID-19?
Cristiano will self-isolate himself in Italy and will try to get back as soon as possible after contracting coronavirus.
Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for COVID-19 during the international break. The top striker played two games for Portugal, in both draws without goals, against Spain in a friendly, and against France for the UEFA Nations League. Hours before the last game against Sweden, also for the Nations League, medics confirmed he tested positive for coronavirus.
Cristiano will now be out some weeks. European press reported that he travelled to Italy to self-isolate himself in Turin. He will have to face a process of 14 days without being in touch with anyone, even thought he may train by his own if he feels like.
Juventus are loosing a key player at the start of the season. The attacker started bot games for his team in Serie A, scoring one goal in the debut against Sampdoria and two on Week 2 against Roma. But now, he will be loosing some games. For sure, he will not be next Saturday, when his team faces Crotone.
But it is a fact that Juventus will have to start the Champions League season without him as well, as the Italian team will play against Dynamo Kiev on October 20. After that match there will be one more before Cristiano comes back: against Hellas Verona on October 25. If tested negative, he will be able to play the game against FC Barcelona, on October 28, in which he will clash with Lionel Messi once again.
