What can Mauricio Pochettino do to convince Lionel Messi of joining PSG?

For when Lionel Messi leaves FC Barcelona next summer he will have other offers of very high profile teams that come with huge wages. Among Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Inter Miami CF and New York City FC, the former looks like the most likely, and there are some reasons for that.

And it became even more likely with Mauricio Pochettino's appointment as the new coach of the French club. That is because he has many experiences in common with the GOAT and they can understand each other. They never worked together, but this could be a good beginning.

First of all, both have lived many years in Barcelona, where Pochettino played nine years for Espanyol. Also, they are both from the same Argentinian province and both are Newell's fans, so they will understand each other easily. Outside of the new coach, his friends Neymar and Angel Di Maria will provide him support in his new city.

The other options have good projects and even friendships too, but Paris seems to be the best of the pick, or the most complete one. And if Pochettino ends up getting the job, and that is very likely, that option will be even easier to choose because everybody will try to make Messi feel like at home.
