Credible sources have confirmed that Real Madrid player, Vinicius Junior would not be leaving the Spanish capital this season. It is said that the exciting forward is one of the favorite players of Real Madrid supremo, Florentino Perez, and he is also seen as an important player by the coaching staff.

 

 

Even though there were rumours that the pacy forward was approached by Premier League giants, Manchester United, it is expected that he will stay put and play a huge part in Madrid's quest for glory in the 2021/22 season. It was confirmed that no talks were held between United and Madrid over a transfer for Vinicius.

It has also been reported that the new coach, Carlo Ancelotti is looking forward to working with the winger in the new season. The Italian manager believes that he can get the best out of the forward and help him to increase on his return of six goals and seven assists that the forward recorded in the 2020/21 season.

 

 

However, there is confirmation that the Spanish giants are in talks with their English counterparts over the sale of French central defender, Raphael Varane. The former Lens defender is rumoured to want to leave the Bernabeu this season after 10 years at the club.
