Uriel Antuna made a very strange professional career so far. He was born at Santos Laguna but moved without playing at the first team to Manchester City. Then he was loaned at FC Groningen, LA Galaxy and finally sold by the English side to Chivas without making his debut.

This year and at the age of 23 he played some games consecutively for the first time. Víctor Vucetich make him play 15 games, in which he scored four goals and gave four assists. After a good season, Antuna is being followed by many important teams in the world, but the Rebaño Sagrado still wants to protect their talent.

His greatest form took him to Mexico national team, where he played under Gerardo Martino against South-Korea, on a friendly of the FIFA international break of November, giving an assist in the victory of his side. He is also expected to play against Japan, the second match of the break.

Matías Almeyda is one of the coaches following Antuna, as U.S. press report. The coach has a good relationship with Chivas advisers and could achieve to take him to San Jose Earthquakes. The cost won’t be low, as the Liga MX side paid $10 million for him just 10 months ago and will want a similar amount of money to let him out.
