At the beginning of the year RB Leipzig announced that they would be signing Spaniard winger Dani Olmo from Croatian Dinamo Zagreb. That looked like the right move for Olmo, who needed a new environment to upgrade his game and get into the real consideration of Luis Enrique, the Spanish national team coach.

Olmo arrived and, after a couple of games, he took the place of Emil Forsberg, the team's captain, in the starting line up. With that squad the got to the UEFA Champions League semifinals and where second in Bundesliga. Now, Forsberg seems to have regained Julian Nagelsmann's confidence and the player who has been left out of the squad is North American Tyler Adams.

The product of the New York Red Bulls academy arrived at Leipzig two years ago. He is a dynamic central midfielder who used to be a great tandem with team's second captain Marcel Sabitzer. They have both lost their spots on the team not only by Olmo but also because of the arrival of Kevin Kampl from RB Salzburg and the repositioning of Frenchman Christopher Nkunku as a defensive midfielder.

In this 3-4-3 system of Nagelsmann Adams only earns a spot as a substitute. This means that it could be a good time for him to explore a transfer possibility. A vry good environment for his development could be Red Bull Salzburg, the Austrian reigning champion where the coach is his former NYRB's coach, Jesse Marsch.
