Former Bayern Munich CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has made a bold claim concerning the futures of two of the most promising footballers in the world, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland. The German football administrator has said that Real Madrid may sign both youngsters in a massive move next summer. The Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund forwards have been making waves in football and are widely considered to be the future of sports.

Kylian Mbappe situation at Paris Saint-Germain

French forward, Kylian Mbappe is into the last 12 months of his contract with league leader, Paris Saint-Germain. The 22-year-old was signed from Monaco in 2017 in a deal worth €180m at the time. Mbappe has grown in leaps and bounds with the Capital club, winning 3 Ligue 1 titles and other cups in the French domestic scene. He is part of a well-stocked attacking department that includes Mauro Icardi, Angel di Maria, Neymar and the recently signed Lionel Messi.

The Bondy-born forward has been the subject of intense speculation over his future. PSG Sporting Director, Leonardo, confirmed during the summer that Mbappe wants to leave the Parc des Princes. Real Madrid reportedly tabled a £120m bid for the player but was knocked back by PSG who are insistent that no deal would be done if Madrid does not meet their €200m valuation of the player.

Erling Haaland situation at Borussia Dortmund

21-year-old Erling Braut Haaland is also the subject of transfer gossips across many newspapers. The Dortmund striker was wanted at Chelsea this summer but the London reportedly pulled out of the deal because of the high fees involved. However, a clause in the Norwegian's contract would allow him to leave for a fee of at least £75m by next summer. This is a deal that Real Madrid will be confident of pulling off.
