Ronaldinho was one of the best Brazilian players of all time, possible to be compared with Pele, Ronaldo Nazario, Romario and so. The 2000s were an era marked by that historical no. 10, that conquered the world playing for FC Barcelona. Since then, the next generation of Brazilian players were always compared to him.

A player from that country that appeared on 2004 and was compared to Dinho was Anderson, the offensive midfielder born in Porto Alegre on 1988. His best moment was at Manchester United, as the English club decided to buy him for $32 million and unite him with Cristiano Ronaldo, hoping that such a society was going to work.

But after the fortune paid and the hope deposited, he only scored nine goals at the Red Devils after 181 appearances. Fans got tired of him and the club decided to axe him. Anderson left on 2014 on a loan to Fiorentina and since then his career was a failure: he passed through Internacional, Coritiba FC, Adana Demirspor and finally retired.

Anderson earned fortunes with soccer and was once an impressive promise, that could never prove his talent. On 2008 he was given the Golden Boy award and after so many years in which he was compared to Ronaldinho, and had the chance to play aside Cristiano Ronaldo, he ended as a failure.
