A new player joined the trend of MLS youngsters proving themselves in Europe. Having just turned 18, this wonderkid, who has played for USMNT at youth level, has officially joined a Bundesliga side after he turned the legal age imposed by FIFA to sign for a team from another country.

This player is a solid right back that came from the New York City FC academy, and was promoted to the first team when he was just 15 years old, being the second youngest MLS player ever, only behind Freddy Adu. He played six matches for his team and now joined Borussia Mönchengladbach.

This wonderkid is Joe Scally. He made his debut for U-17 USMNT when he was just 14 years old, and has played 19 matches with that team. Giovanni Reyna, USMNT star, Bundesliga hot prospect and friend of Scally at New York City FC, welcomed him on an Instagram story.

Born in Lake Grove, New York, Scally is a fast and strong right back that is also very intelligent tactically. He admires Dani Alves, FC Barcelona star in his golden years and one of the best partners Lionel Messi had. Seventh in Bundesliga, Borussia Mönchengladbach will find in Scally a great team player for its objectives.
