He was known for an awful tackle that badly injured Lionel Messi, and his former teammates told his story, and why has called a raging bull.

It is February 2006. A young 19-year-old kid named Lionel Messi is showing his quality at FC Barcelona. In a Champions League match, he received a tackle from a rival that could have costed his career, but he incredibly recovered. That defender has been tackling since the beginning of the match until that point, because he was sent off.

Many years later, some teammates of that player remembered him in a podcast. They remembered how much alcohol he drank and how he liked betting. The 'Raging bull' was the nicknamed given to him by Joe Cole and Carlton Cole, from Chelsea, where he played for one season,

That player is Asier Del Horno, a Spanish left back whose former mates revealed a time where he drank an incredibly high amount of alcohol without getting drunk, and he ignored an Arctic Monkeys concert he went with them to just be sitting at the bar and chatting to some Chelsea fans.

Del Horno emerged through Athletic Club ranks and after that one season under Jose Mourinho, where he won the Premier League, he returned to Spain and wore the shirts of Valencia, Real Valladolid and Levante. He played 10 matches with Spain national team, and missed out on World Cup 2006 because of an injury.
