Everton started in an incredible level the season in Premier League and are now the unique leader of the competition after four games played which, of course, they've won all. In that outstanding performance there is a player that draw everyone's attention: Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The level of the striker makes him a world-class player, as he scored 10 goals in the start of the season, more than any other player in Europe's top five leagues. For The Toffee's he marked six times in four Premier League games and three times in two EFL Cup. But, after all, he also proved his capacity as an international player this Thursday.
After his first call-up for England national team, Lewin scored a goal in the victory against Wales in a friendly. The Three Lions are preparing for the big games on October international break, against Belgium (October 11) and Denmark (October 14), both regarding UEFA Nations League.
Aged 23, Calvert-Lewin plays since 2016 for Everton, when the club signed him for a bit more than $2 million from Sheffield United. But after 140 games, his very best form occurred under Carlos Ancelotti's mandate. Despite he was not considered a top a few months ago, we must write his name bigger from now on.
