Chivas lost a key match against Cruz Azul on Week 15 of the Apertura Liga MX and one of the more criticized players of the team was José Juan Macías. The attacker failed once again to score and fans lost their patience with him. Now, his future is uncertain after Víctor Manuel Vucetich saying that he should analyze the future of the player.

Macías was on a very good form when he played for León, but came back to Chivas and couldn't recover his level. After the COVID-19 pandemic his performances weren't good and there are some reasons to understand why that happened. After all, he scored 16 goals in 57 games for Chivas, three less than those netted with León on 40 games.

Macías has wanted to leave to Europe since some months ago and sport advisers couldn't negotiate his departure. The attacker is definitively playing in the place where he doesn't want to be, as his intention is to move to Europe soon. He also has the pressure to perform, as he is one of the most valuated player of the team.

Chivas stand 9th in the Guard1anes 2020, after getting 22 points on 15 games. Vucetich will now try to get his team to the final series, as finishing in the top four teams of the league seems to be almost impossible with two games to go (Pumas and Monterrey).
