Jesús Corona is going through a very good moment in his professional career. The Mexican attacker has been called up for the national team by Gerardo Martino and will share an incredible attack with Raúl Jiménez and Hirving Lozano. But after five years of Tecatito on Porto, his time there may be reaching to an end.

The Portuguese side is facing a financial crisis and needs to earn some money soon. The most valuated player in the club is Corona, who has a reported value of almost $35 million according to specialized website Transfermarkt. But, at this situation he might be sold for a lot less than that.

Corona started his professional career at Monterrey and then left to FC Twente on August 2013 for $4 million. He then left to Porto two years later for $11 million and since his arrival in the club he played 231 matches, scoring 30 goals and giving 61 assists.

The crisis for which Porto is going through is complicating a lot the plans for the next season and some urgent money may be needed. That could be a possibility for other teams looking forward to making Corona’s sign for an amount of money lower that the prize that he is valued at.
