Callum Hudson-Odoi was one of the players Bayern Munich tried to get to the club in the transfer window with a move at deadline day. But, Chelsea pretended too much money for the younger attacker aged 19 and the negotiation finally ended up in nothing.

After the talks between the clubs, Bayern knew that Chelsea was pretending almost $80 million for Odoi and, despite being considered one of the players who can mark the future of soccer, the German's though that was too much. When compared to Leroy Sané, for whom they paid more than $45 million the move for Odoi was too expensive.

Bayern not only got Sané in this transfer window but also Marc Roca, who came from Espanyol, Bouna Sarr, from Olympique Marseille, Douglas Costa, loaned from Juventus, and Eric Maxim Chuopo-Moting, Tanguy Nianzou and Alexander Nubel, all for free.

Sport Bild assured that the intentions of Bayern to get Hudson-Odoi ended at deadline day, after knowing what Chelsea pretended for the player. After all, the London club has wasted almost $250 million in the transfer window, with important incorporation such as Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Hakim Ziyech and Edouard Mendy.
