Inter Milan striker, Romelu Lukaku has been the subject of intense rumours this season with major news outlets reporting a possible move back to Champions League winners, Chelsea. The Belgian first moved to Stamford Bridge as an 18-year-old in 2011 but made only 10 appearances for the Blues, scoring no goals before he was sold to Everton in 2014.

The bulky striker now plies his trade in the Italian Serie A and was instrumental in the Nerrazzuri lifting the Italian League last season, scoring 24 times in 36 league appearances. This impressive form has alerted former club Chelsea, who are keen on bringing the former Genk player back on the payroll of the club. Thomas Tuchel side needs a proven striker to build on an impressive half-season in London that saw him lift the UEFA Champions League.

However, Lukaku has repeatedly stated that he is not seeking a move from Inter, with the star said to be settled and enjoying his football with the Italian Champions. Lukaku is on an impressive wage of £142,000 per week, coming to an annual salary of about £7.4m. Even though this salary seems to be little compared to what he would earn in the Premier League with Chelsea or any other club, the forward seems to be content and he has seen his stock rise since his move to the San Siro. He has also formed a formidable partnership with a striking partner, Lautaro Martinez.

Romelu Lukaku earns well enough to afford a very comfortable lifestyle. He was reported to have purchased 3 brand new Benz cars within the space of 3 months in 2019. These were the Mercedes AMG GTR Coupe, the S Class Coupe and the AMG GLS 63 4×4. Lukaku also has a Rolls Royce Wraith in his car collection.
