Cristiano Ronaldo is a proven goalscorer having won league titles and the golden boot in England, Spain and Italy where he has spent the majority of his playing career. He recently returned to Manchester United and he made instant impact at Manchester United scoring goals.

Ronaldo has scored three goals in the Premier League in just four games and has 31 games left to improve on that tally and maybe win the golden boot again for the second time. He won it in the 2007-08 season with 31 goals in 34 matches. If he stays fit and consistent, he could win it again.

The Premier League golden boot winner other than the award is always given £1,000 for each goal scored at the end of the season. Should Ronaldo win the award again this season, he would be given that money for each goal scored, but the money is not for him.

The money given to the highest goalscorer is not always theirs, they are given the money to donate to a charity organisation of their choice. This would not be a difficult thing for Cristiano Ronaldo as he has enough money already and is a philanthropic individual who gives regularly to humanitarian projects.
