The Brazilian soccer player's usually sought after by the main clubs worldwide due to their unique talent. It's enough to review the teams of the clubs and most of them there's a player of that nationality. But they're also recognized for starring in scandals outside the playing field, either for participating in parties or, as this time, going to an illegal casino. The one who did it's Gabriel Barbosa, who knew how to shine alongside Neymar in the National Team and who is the great figure that Flamengo has, who was arrested at dawn on Sunday.

The player Gabriel Barbosa was detained in a luxury casino located in the wealthy Vila Olimpia neighborhood, in the south of Sao Paulo, and transferred to a police station, where he signed a document pledging to return to give a statement, before being released. A group of sanitary inspectors and police officers detected the "agglomeration with about 200 people in a playhouse (...) The people were flagrantly consuming alcoholic beverages, disrespecting the rules of social distancing and not wearing a mask", indicated the government of Sao Paulo on a note.

In videos published by the authorities, Gabigol appears dressed in a white T-shirt and wearing a mask, when leaving the establishment escorted by policemen. "I don't usually play. I was with my friends and we went to eat. When we were leaving, the police came ordering everyone to get down", Gabigol said in excerpts from an interview with the Globonews channel's Fantastic program, which it will air tonight.

Gabriel Barbosa recognized his mistake

"There was a lack of sensitivity on my part", added the forward, who assured that he was spending time with his friends taking advantage of his last day of vacation after Fla was crowned two-time champion of the Brasileirao-2020 on February 26. "I always used a mask, alcohol gel" and realizing that "there were a little more people I was leaving" the casino, he added.
