Austin FC will debut next year in MLS, and it is for this reason that they seek to strengthen its team as much as possible. It was previously announced that they are close to hiring Cecilio Domínguez. Together with the Paraguayan player, the team was looking to hire a player in Liga MX. However, the player wants to stay in Mexico.

The player is Vincent Janssen, current attacker for Club de Fútbol Monterrey. The player is considered a successful signing in the Mexican team. However, his injuries have impeded his progress. Austin FC knows the player's potential and, for this reason, offered 20 million for his signing. However, the player declined the offer.

The player revealed that he feels happy at Club de Fútbol Monterrey, which is why he does not contemplate leaving soon. Now, Austin FC will have to wait and look for other star players drawn to the new MLS team project.
